The Quad Lock system is the best we’ve come across for mounting your smartphone both to your bicycle handlebars and the dashboard/windscreen of your car, after trying many cheaper and inferior options over the years.

It works by attaching a Universal Adapter to the back of your phone case (or for popular phones, you can buy cases with it integrated in) which then clips in securely to the mount either on your bicycle or motorbike handlebars, or your car windscreen. You press it in at a 45º angle before then rotating to the desired angle, and to remove it again you press down on the unlocking lever to release allowing rotation.

Quad Lock holds your phone very tightly and securely – you have no reason at all to worry about your phone falling off and smashing, even over the roughest of terrain.

For cyclists, we’d recommend the “Out Front” mount rather than the original, as it’s more secure and offers more mounting options as well as an optional GoPro mounting attachment. There’s also an arm strap available so you can mount your phone whilst out running!

The car mount is great when using Google Maps as a satnav whilst driving, and you can rotate the phone through 90º whilst it’s mounted, meaning you can hold your phone in either portrait or landscape – whichever you prefer.
